“When we arrived it took the staff a while to delete the key codes to the room and program the code for our stay. There was a live bug on the bed (it was not a bed bug) however there was a large gap at the bottom of the door allowing entrance to bugs. The light on the night stand did not work. The mini-split unit was loud enough my husband used ear plugs.”

“The property was nice but extremely expensive for what you get. The food was not great, we didn’t get the lunches as advertised in our booking and they overcharged us for drinks in our incidentals.”

“We are so thankful we came across this property! The location is amazing, the size is perfect and it was a cozy spot to rest after a long boat day. Thank you again, we will be back!”

“We loved the setup, seclusion, and the attention to detail. The bathhouse is also so clean and well stocked. ”

“Beautiful location, very clean and quiet. ”

“Amazing location amazing staff. Just absolutely amazing incredible people. ”

“Ellen is a Very communicative and helpful host. Property looks even better in person than in the pictures. Enjoyable stay!”

“The cabin was very nice but looks a little un loved. 6 nights no tv in the evening and no reply. Looks like no one is doing up keep on the place. We did love how close we were to the river and the store. Very quite and private property. Shower curtain had a lot of mildew build up. Would give it 4 stars if it was cleaner and everything worked.”

“Cabin was everything we pictured! Nice clean and perfect for what we needed. Very good communication from host! Will definitely be back again. ”

“It was seriously so cute! Nice & clean. Plenty of space & sleeping areas for our family of 6. Although, we didnt spend alot time actually in the cabin it was nice to come back to a nice cool place to relax for a bit and shower, after an entire evening in the rain (Friday) & full day of sun floating the black river (Saturday). I would highly recommend the Panthers Den to friends/family & if available next year we will be back!!! ”

“Everything was perfect and above our expectations, except for the stargazing. You couldn’t see well through the plastic roof of the tent, and there were a lot of lights around the property, hindering the darkness needed for stargazing. Of course the lights were very nice as far as enhancing the atmosphere and helping to light the pathways. The bathroom is a bit of a walk away, but not bad. It was clean and well-stocked, and we liked sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs when we needed to……

“This was a great place to stay, so close to my job site. Comfortable, clean and well furnished. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Great weekend in a very peaceful atmosphere! Very clean! Creek was fun for 7 year-old grandson. Had fire pit and space to play games! Perfect for our needs!”

“Very grateful for this safe clean cabin. We were there during the terrible Black River flooding and thankfully this cabin was in safe high ground. ”

“I would have rated higher, however this is actually a refurbished camper, snd these are newer hosts. There aren't enough outlets and the kitchen outlet for the coffee maker does not work. Also, the shower drain did not work, however the owners were able to fix it almost immediately when we contacted them. Overall, it's a nice, updated camper, the location was perfect for our needs and the hosts were responsive to our needs. We would likely stay again.”

“It’s a beautiful property, amazing view, the host was very responsive and a great help. I’ll definitely be recommending this property to friends and next time I’m in the area I hope it’s available!”

“I really liked the property. It was clean, convenient, and the back porch and fire pit very private. The property is in town and near everything that there is in Annapolis. It is about five miles to K Bridge and the Black River. The listing says there are two beds. There are not. There is one bed in the bedroom, a sofa and two chairs in the living room. I went with a friend who had to sleep on the sofa. If the sofa is a pull out sofa I wasn't able to figure it out. I thought that I left……

“Excellent place to getaway with the family. Loved the charm of the property and would highly recommend to anyone.”
